The PGA of Czech Republic has prepared for you an extension seminar with Andreas Kali (Denmark) on the topic of Junior development, how to create different learning exercises and golf swing, which will be held on Monday, April 24, at the Royal Golf Club Beroun, Czech Republic.
Andreas Kali
Andreas Kali is very influential in his native Denmark. He is the head coach of the Danish Junior Golf Academy and creates what we call the golf swing factory. He uploads swing after swing of young superstars on his Instagram. We rarely hear Andreas talk about golf philosophy, preferring to let the actions of his students speak for themselves. Andreas is the head coach of the Danish Junior Golf Academy (DJGA), in addition he is ranked among the best international teachers according to Golf Digest and has the title of Danish PGA Teacher of the Year 2021. The Danish Junior Golf Academy has helped more than 160 players to the top since its establishment in 2007. It has produced Solheim Cup participants, Olympic Games, Eisenhower Trophy winners, European Champions, DP World Tour winners, Challenge Tour OoM, NCAA, US and National Champions.
How Kali sees herself
I became a golf coach because I love everything about golf. I love being a part of the game and I love helping people with their game.
What motivates me the most in my work as a coach is development. Both my students’ development and my own. I hate standing still in my own development, so I’m always trying to learn more about technology, learning, development and communication. I have some basic ideas, but I am very flexible if something different (new). I think it also improves my students.
I would like to be seen as a coach who is passionate about his profession. I would also like to be perceived as an inspiring, honest, helpful person.
Being open, honest and hardworking means a lot to me, both on and off the field.
